History Department

The Department of History was started in the year 1981, with an intention of providing quality education to the students, to the maximum extent possible. The History subject is offered with a combination of Political Science and Economics. Since its inception there has been a great demand for H.E.P. group. Most of the students of B.A (H.E.P) have secured good positions in every walk of life as officers, professionals, civil servants, politicians, etc,. The department of History offers B.A (H.E.P) course in Telugu medium.

VISION

  • To provide holistic education and employability through higher education for rural and marginalized youth of the area.

MISSION

  1. To provide proper training to rural young men and women of the region.
  2. To design academic programmes through which the learners fit to global necessity.
  3. To create and promote Brain storm skills of creativity and innovation inherent in young minds of the area.
  4. To provide a sound value education system with the values of hard work, discipline and service mindedness.
