M.Sc-Organic Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry (PG) was established in the year 2002.  The activities of the department were formally launched and inaugurated by Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Ramanuja China Jeeyaru Swamyvaru on 17-08-2002 to provide a valuable higher education in Chemistry at an afforadable cost for the students of economically back warded classes and surrounding villagesThe Department of Chemistry is well equipped to support high quality teaching the faculty and students take active participation in National and international confeerencesworkshops. The department is one of the best in the Acharya Nagarjuna University affiliated PG colleges.  It offers M.Sc Chemistry (Organic Chemistry). The Department had worked efficient faculty like Dr.C.Papa Rao ,Reader in Chemistry,Dr.N.Srinivasa Rao,Dr.V.Venugopal,Dr.K.Umamaheswar,Sri T.Naganjaneyulu,Sri P.jayapal,Sri M.Kiran,Sri D.Sivaram,Smt B.Bhavani,Smt.J.Rajyalakshmi.Now the Department Chemistry is one of the biggest department in the college with Three faculty members and well established laboratories with adequate facilities. The faculty of the department always strives hard to enrich the students knowledge and skills to suitthe rapidly changing needs and aspirants of the society. The department of Chemistry has alwaysfocused on the all round development of the students. They do their best efferot to better the standards of the students.Besides the Academic year faculty also pursuing their research work and publishing papers. The Department is supported by “Sri Manthena Venkata Raju Seva Samithi” Khajipalem to achieve potentials. The M.Sc chemistry students got four University Gold medals in 2007(D.Suresh Babu),2014(N.Sindhu),2017(B.Bhavani,2018(Y.Anusha) and more number of students had qualified CSIR-JRF,NET,SET,GATE Fellowship.

The college has the experience of providing quality of education for more than 44 years. We have also had the opportunity to support research institutions and corporations across the world by developing the industry oriented courses.

Vission: To be centre of exlence in technical higher education, research and support services, capable of making a significant contribution to individual and societal empowerment.

Mission: To create technically qualified world class professionals with social commitement through career oriented courses conducted by high profile faculty, complimented with globally interactive learning processes and leading edge-technology.
